HABORSHYTTAN · FILIPSTAD · VÄRMLAND, SWEDEN

A red wooden house with room to breathe.

A traditional Swedish house from 1909, with a guest cottage, sauna and forests and lakes close by.

WELCOME TO STUGA BRUNBJÖRN

My house in Haborshyttan

I rent out my traditional wooden house in Haborshyttan, in the municipality of Filipstad. It was built in 1909 and has the simple, homely character of an older Swedish country house. There is space for four to six guests, with two or three bedrooms in the main house and an additional guest cottage. I come here for the quiet, the forests and the nearby water — and I hope you will feel at home here too.

EXTRA SPACE FOR FAMILY AND FRIENDS

Your own little guest cottage

The guest cottage has its own living room and bedroom, making it a practical option for friends, older children or family members who appreciate a little extra privacy. It can also be used as a quiet workspace or reading room.

OUTSIDE YOUR DOOR

The surroundings

Haborshyttan is a small, quiet place surrounded by woodland, open land and water. The landscape changes with the seasons, from long green summer days to snowy winter walks.

Forest walks

Walk straight from the house into the surrounding woodland. There are quiet paths for a short morning walk or a longer day outdoors.

Lakes, canoeing and fishing

Several lakes are within easy reach. Bring a canoe, spend the day by the water or ask me where to find a peaceful fishing spot.

Winter in Värmland

In winter, the area becomes quieter still. On snowy days there is space for walks, sledding, cross-country skiing and evenings by the stove.

Filipstad and local supplies

Filipstad is approximately 20 minutes away by car and has shops, everyday services and places to stop for a Swedish fika.
